This home required the works. We were here to address a full exterior paint makeover. We painted the eavestrough, soffit, facia, window frames, window lentils, doors, porch façade, garage doors, downspouts and even cupula on top of the house.

Clients’ Wishes

This was a very large job that took 2 weeks for our team to complete. The linear footage of ladder movement made for a very laborious job that involved a lot of preparation for painting everything required for these home owners. The client didn’t like how all the areas addressed were looking time-worn and drab. The white had faded and looked dirty. The objective was to refresh the entire exterior of the home with fresh white paint, along with a few garage doors being stained.

What We Did

We spent a long time doing prep work for this job. Preparation included sanding/scraping old wood facia, sanding the eaves and soffit, porch/siding areas, doors and downspouts of all dirt and grime, re-caulking windows and priming original window lentils that were left as exposed metal and had oxidized. After priming where necessary, we commence with painting 2 coats of white everywhere. We set up multiple ladders in one area and focus our efforts together to systematically move from area to area. This allows us to utilize maximum efficiency and keep our ladder movements to a minimum, as moving heavy extension ladders drains your energy throughout the day. This allows us to complete your paint job as efficiently as possible. When we are on the roof reaching the highest parts of the job, we are anchored to the roof with appropriate harness and safety systems to prevent any injury from happening. We always work safely and to industry standards!
